Enterprise Asia was founded on the principle that entrepreneurship is an efficacious asset for sustainable economic development, to promote entrepreneurship as a way of life and to forge greater entrepreneurial co-operation in Asia as per Mr. Tan Sri Dr. Fong Chan Onn, Chairman of Enterprise Asia. APEA stresses the importance of recognizing sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship amongst entrepreneurs.

Mr. Murali Krishna Gannamani, Managing Director & CEO, Fluentgrid Limited (Formerly Phoenix IT Solutions Ltd.) was adjudged winner by the jury of the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award (APEA) 2016 India in the “Most Promising Entrepreneur” Category.

Mr. Murali received the award in the presence of Minister of State for External Affairs Gen VK Singh at a grand function organized by APEA at JW Marriott Aerocity Hotel at New Delhi on 24 March 2016. Other awardees at the function included Mr. Rahul Bajaj, Chairman, Bajaj Group who received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” and Mr. Malvinder Mohan Singh, Executive Chairman, Fortis Healthcare who received the “Entrepreneur of the year Award 2016”

Every year APEA seeks nomination to recognize Asia’s outstanding and most deserving entrepreneurs. As advocates of entrepreneurship, APEA believes that entrepreneurship does not only provide a compelling alternative to individuals to continue their livelihood, but also serves as an important catalyst to spur economic developments and to catapult countries out of recession.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Murali expressed his satisfaction and happiness in getting this Prestigious Award and mentioned that it’s a great honor to receive the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award 2016 and dedicates this award to his wife and his associates who stood by him all these 15 years to make Fluentgrid Limited (Formerly Phoenix IT Solutions Ltd.) what it is today in the Energy, Utilities and Smart Cities space which is growing from strength to strength with each passing year. He thanked the organizers and the jury for selecting him for this Prestigious Asian Award.
