Job Title: Software Engineer

Experience: 3 – 4 Yrs

Location – Visakhapatnam

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and optimize database queries, schemas, and integrations with relational databases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support application deployments, monitoring, and production issue resolution.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Collections Framework, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
• Good understanding of RESTful Web Services and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of application deployment processes and debugging techniques.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.
• Exposure to application modernization initiatives, including:

• Java and Spring Boot version upgrades
  • Framework migrations
  • Dependency management and optimization
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI services or APIs.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience in Java technologies.
