Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with strong expertise in Solid Waste Management (SWM), Municipal Operations, ULB processes, and digital municipal solutions. The candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering, process analysis, functional documentation, stakeholder management, and solution delivery, with hands-on knowledge of User Charges, Weighbridge, GPS Tracking, Fleet Management, Workshop Management, and Field Workforce applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements from municipal authorities, ULBs, and operational stakeholders
• Understand and document As-Is and To-Be business processes related to Solid Waste Management and municipal operations
• Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions
• Prepare and maintain BRD, FRD/FRS, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flow Diagrams, and Acceptance Criteria
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications for technical teams
• Work closely with Product, Development, QA, Implementation, and Project Management teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyze process gaps and recommend improvements, automation opportunities, and digital solutions
• Validate developed solutions against approved business and functional requirements
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing scenarios, coordinating with users, validating results, and tracking issues
• Support implementation, deployment, user training, and post-go-live activities
• Manage requirement changes, dependencies, risks, and requirement traceability throughout the project
• Prepare functional workflows, dashboards, reports, and other business documentation as required
• Coordinate with government/municipal stakeholders and ensure effective communication between business and technical teams

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of Solid Waste Management (SWM) processes and municipal operations.
• Experience in User Charges Management, including tariff configuration, billing, collections, receipts, and outstanding dues.
• Hands-on knowledge of Weighbridge Operations, including gross/tare/net weight calculations, RFID integration, and vehicle trip management.
• Knowledge of Central Workshop Management, including work orders, preventive maintenance, spare parts inventory, repairs, and workshop scheduling.
• Experience with Field Workforce Mobile Applications, including attendance, geo-tagging, task assignment, complaint management, offline synchronization, and productivity tracking.
• Strong understanding of Municipal Governance, sanitation workflows, and Urban Local Body (ULB) operations.
• Strong requirements analysis, process mapping, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, Product Consulting, or a similar role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, functional documentation, stakeholder management, and solution validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
