The Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) is a recognized leader in the field of modern electronics manufacturing, system integration & repair and maintenance services head-quartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

AEC as prime contractor to the Saudi Electric Company (SEC) has selected Phoenix IT Solutions, amongst tough global competition, to be its sub-contractor to develop, implement and provide support services for state of the art Head-end and MDMS for their AMR/AMM project capable of handling 6 Million Meters. The selection was based on deep utility industry knowledge, product engineering and technology expertise gained over the years with our mPower™ suite of products and proven delivery expertise across geographies.

The project scope entails development and implementation of a Head-end system that would interface with the multiple vendor meters such as those from AEC, Itron and Elster, DCU’s, Gateways using standard protocols such as DLMS, GPRS, PLCC and other standard modes for data transfer, and provide a robust Meter Data Management System that is scalable for handling big data and meet the availability requirements of the Utility. In addition the system is expected to interface with SAP’s, Billing and ERP system.
