Job Summary:

The Cyber Security IT Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization’s cyber security strategy to protect information systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capability, and the ability to Align security initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s cyber security policies, standards, and procedures
• Lead and manage security operations, including threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Oversee network, application, cloud, and endpoint security controls
• Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and penetration testing
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc., as applicable)
• Collaborate with IT, business, and leadership teams to embed security best practices across the organization
• Manage and mentor a team of security analysts or engineers
• Work with vendors and third-party partners on security tools and services
• Prepare security reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management
• Drive employee awareness programs on information security and cyber hygiene

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection
• Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and security monitoring solutions
• Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of encryption, identity & access management (IAM), and secure architecture
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and application security principles

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field
• 8 – 10 years of experience in cyber security or information security roles
• Prior experience in managing security operations or teams is preferred

Certifications (Preferred):

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent certifications
• Cloud security certifications (AWS Security, Azure Security, etc.) are an added advantage
