Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant

Work Location: Ranchi

Key Skills:

• SAP Basis, troubleshooting, Upgrades, Refresh, Migrations etc.
• Deep understanding of L2/L3 Scope of activities
• Should have worked on EHP Upgrades, installations and migrations is must
• Must have excellent speaking, written, and presentation skills
• Good Understanding of SAP and Portal authentication with Microsoft Active Directory / LDAP
• Worked on New SAP Basis installations and configure CCMS
• Must have worked on Solution Manager with CHARM setup
• Should have worked on Environment Readiness, System Validation, SAP System / DB / Parameter related changes, Printer setup, Network related coordination, Batch Jobs – Setup and Monitoring, decommissioning of servers
• Execute standard TA Tasks against ITSM Service Requests
• Experiences in the following Business Packages S4/Hana, S/4 HANA for BW, ECC, BW, MDG
• Should have working experience on Oracle and SAP HANA
• Look into and troubleshoot SAP Basis related issues and resolve them

Job Responsibilities:

• Core SAP Basis Administration experience as Core SAP Basis Administration experience as Technical Lead/Tech Arch role having L3 work exposure
• Supporting multiple hardware server platforms and operating systems including Windows, AIX, UNIX, Linux etc.
• In Depth understanding of Performance Analysis, Buffer Tuning, Issue and Dumps analysis and RCA, Transport issues identifications, System Refresh, debugging source codes knowledge
• CCMS Monitoring Implementation, DVM, CHARM Implementations, SPS/Add-on Upgrades understanding required
• Basic DB administration tasks, like, Backup, Table/Index reorg, Tablespace maint , SQL Query analysis, Long running SQL performance analysis using Tuning advisor etc.
• Libellee tools experience with System Refresh Strategy and Implementation
• Datadog implementation, Dashboard creation etc., experience is added advantage
• Must Require to have knowledge on SAP HANA and BOBJ administration
• Experience on Installations and migration of SAP servers from different Datacenters (Homogenous and Heterogeneous)
• Proactive Monitoring and resolve by identifying potential problems in SAP systems
• Perform core Basis functions (e.g., Corrections, Support packs, Kernels, Patching, Transports, CHARM, OSS Notes, CCMS) with knowledge on Installations, configuring and maintenance
• Must have worked on EHP Upgrade & Migrations with SAP S/4 HAHA with Oracle and DB2
• Should been working on SAP COE like new implementations, support other projects
• Proactive Monitoring and resolve by identifying potential problems in all maintain SAP systems
• Developing and modifying SAP technical strategies, lead problems resolutions and Document SAP processes, procedures, and plans; including changes, upgrades, and new services
• Should been working on SAP COE like new implementations, support other projects

• Provide expertise and knowledge to apply ABAP and Java support packages
• Supporting multiple hardware server platforms and operating systems including on major cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) infrastructures and OS
• Work closely with the clients and business stakeholders to understand their pain points and requirements and strive to resolve them
• Perform regular maintenance and performance Tuning for Database and SAP systems

Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
Experience: 5 – 10 Yrs.
